Intent: Raise awareness of the importance that the terms and conditions of Ireland's national technical guidance on the deployment of fibre broadband networks (as required under Art.10 of the Gigabit Infrastructure Act) to fully align with the terms and objectives of that Act (as drafted by the European Commission).

Intent: Seeking to ensure Budget 2027 addresses concerns regarding illicit products and smoking cessation

Intent: To secure proactive planning by the Department of Health and HSE to assess existing primary care capacity, identify areas requiring additional facilities or expanded services, and ensure healthcare infrastructure develops alongside Wexford’s growth so residents can continue to access essential services locally.

Details: Engagement with the Minister for Health on the need to expand primary care capacity in County Wexford to keep pace with sustained population growth, new housing delivery and ongoing economic development.

Intent: To secure Government and HSE action to support the establishment and expansion of GP and dental practices, improve workforce supports, and scale community healthcare services in high growth areas so care can be delivered closer to where people live.

Details: Engagement highlighting increasing difficulty for residents in accessing GP, dental and community healthcare services, particularly in North Wexford, where limited local availability is leading some people to travel to Dublin for routine care.

Intent: To secure government commitment to advancing key transport and port projects that enhance freight efficiency, support offshore renewable energy development, and improve Wexford’s competitiveness for investment.
