Intent: That Clare County Council calls on the Minister for Agriculture to arrange a meeting between the Chair of Bord Bia, Larry Murrin, IFA, ICMSA and other farming stakeholders in the interest of dialogue. For the Chair to brief the stakeholders and answer fully and comprehensively all questions to the satisfaction of the farming organisations.::Should the Chair of Bord Bia fail to answer the questions or fail to answer the questions to the satisfaction of the farming organisations that the Minister will request his resignation.
Intent: To highlight reforms of the policy environment which would address vacancy and dereliction in Ireland's towns and cities and the importance of prioritising adaptive use in the next housing plan.

Intent: To strongly reject proposals suggesting that Clare Local Authority would use CPO (Compulsory Purchase Orders) powers as an option to confiscate private land from farmers on the Cliffs of Moher coastal walk.::To call on Clare County Council to immediately withdraw the CPO option and threat from the draft report.::To call on Clare County Council to engage constructively with the farmers and the IFA so an appropriate and effective arrangement can be agreed on the Cliffs of Moher coastal walk which reflects the scale of up to 1.5m tourists and estimated revenue of €19m annually.

Intent: To highlight that close and ongoing consultation with all farmers along proposed Greenway routes is very important.::To emphasise that Greenway design should avoid farm severance and proceed on the basis of voluntary land acquisition agreements with farmers.::To oppose any severance of farms or compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) for amenity projects like Greenways.::To welcome the confirmation that all Greenway developments in county Clare will follow the IFA/TII Code of Practice and developments will be eligible for the Greenway Sustainability Payments.
Intent: To voice Farmers' anger and frustration at the ever-increasing administrative burden being placed on them which has had a major impact on farm family incomes.::These frustrations have broadened into anger with European and National lawmakers over the massive increase in regulations relating to Agriculture. The EU, the Irish Government and local Government are devising policies far from the farm gate with little or no consideration of the direct impact on farmers.::The following are some of the key issues that are contributing to growing frustration and anger with the political system::1. The transformation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) away from supporting food production towards actually reducing farm output. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funding is being redirected to environmental schemes – the EU is effectively implementing new environmental regulations such as the “eco-schemes” on the cheap by redirecting existing funding instead of allocating additional funds.::2
