Intent: That Clare County Council calls on the Minister for Agriculture to arrange a meeting between the Chair of Bord Bia, Larry Murrin, IFA, ICMSA and other farming stakeholders in the interest of dialogue. For the Chair to brief the stakeholders and answer fully and comprehensively all questions to the satisfaction of the farming organisations.::Should the Chair of Bord Bia fail to answer the questions or fail to answer the questions to the satisfaction of the farming organisations that the Minister will request his resignation.

Intent: To strongly reject proposals recommending that Clare Local Authority would use CPO (Compulsory Purchase Orders) powers as an option to confiscate private land from farmers on the famous Cliffs of Moher coastal walk.::To emphasise that this is an attempt to intimidate the landowners and will be resisted outright. Many years ago landowners on the Cliffs of Moher agreed to allow a permissive walk through their lands and they are now being threatened with a CPO::To call on Clare County Council to immediately withdraw the CPO option and threat from the draft report.::To call on Clare County Council to engage constructively with the farmers and the IFA so an appropriate and effective arrangement can be agreed on the Cliffs of Moher coastal walk which reflects the scale of up to 1.5m tourists and estimated revenue of €19m annually.

Intent: The meeting and engagements aimed to provide an introduction to Regnum and the proposed Dehomad Wind Farm, ahead of community engagement, and to establish lines of communication with elected representatives in anticipation of future correspondence from the community.

Details: Regnum Renewables and Ivan Yates (providing advisory services) briefed the West Clare MD councillors in advance of community engagement on a proposed wind farm near Lissycasey, Dehomad Wind Farm, and subsequently engaged with four Clare TDs to share information and request introductory meetings.

On 04/06/25 in the Kilrush Area Office, Ivan Yates and representatives from Regnum met with West Clare MD councillors to brief them on a proposed wind farm development near Lissycasey. Councillors in attendance included Dinny Gould, Rita McInerney, Ian Lynch, Michael Shannon, and Joe Killeen, with Shane Talty and Joe Garrihy joining remotely.
