Intent: Inclusion of passive house standard or equivalent in development plans, for the protection of public health, comfort, the environment, and the economy.
Details: I have lobbied and am lobbying local authorities to encourage them to adopt higher building standards in their development plans. This is unpaid lobbying work.
I organised a briefing on the passive house standard an the proposal to adopt same in DLR's draft development plan, and invited councillors and council officials from all four local authorities in the Dublin area to attend. The event was filmed, and subsequently emailed to councillors.
