Details: Expert Oversight Group for Phase 3(ii) of the Framework for Safe Nurse Staffing and Skill Mix in Community Care Settings
Intent: NHI is in support of this framework from the outset recognising that the piloting of such a tool has the potential to have a positive impact on the care provided to nursing home residents as well as impact positively on the staff working in all nursing homes. At the taskforce meeting on the 14th May that the economic analysis will now not be undertaken. NHI are incredulous to hear this as how can a framework be rolled out if it has not been properly costed and the financial impact assessed.
Details: NHI wrote a letter to Ms Kenna and also met with her to discuss the Pilot Implementation of the Framework for Safe Nurse Staffing and Skill Mix in Long-Term Residential Settings for Older People
