Intent: NHI is in support of this framework from the outset recognising that the piloting of such a tool has the potential to have a positive impact on the care provided to nursing home residents as well as impact positively on the staff working in all nursing homes. At the taskforce meeting on the 14th May that the economic analysis will now not be undertaken. NHI are incredulous to hear this as how can a framework be rolled out if it has not been properly costed and the financial impact assessed.
