Rates & Revaluation of Properties - Mr Ryan indicated that the Budget for Cavan Co Co for 2018 had been prepared and presented to his council for consideration. There was a deficit between expenditure of receipts and this would be accommodated by a rise in the rates or a reduction in the services being provided. The revaluation of properties in Cavan has commenced. The outcome should have little or no difference in the amount being paid as 'Rates' by property owners.Events Coordinator - Mr Ryan is in principle disposed to such an appointment but indicated much background research would have to be undertaken to advance the proposalMarket Square Development - work is to commence 13th November and be finished early December.
