Intent: To raise awareness of the role of the EPA's licensing unit in causing delays to infrastructure delivery and a suggestion that ACP issue both planning and an operating permits for IED activities as a means of speeding up infrastructure delivery. This would avoid a second regulatory approval step for SID/IED applications and avoid 30 mth+ delays caused by the EPA. Currently EPA only start considering an application 'in-series' when planning is granted and add extra 2+ years of additional delays.::Highlight the role that the EPA has in critical infrastructure approval and the delays caused by EPA timelines.

Details: Raising the awareness of our constituency TDs and DCEE officials of significant delays of more than 24 months with EPA's licensing unit
