Meeting took place on 13th May at Catalyst in Derry. It was a workshop style format. Attended by CEO of Chamber and President - Meeting

Intent: Gain an understanding of where the strategic allicance is positioned currently and discuss what the next steps are.

Details: Meeting with stakeholders from the NWCity Region convened by the Cheif Executives from Donegal County Council and Derry City Council to discuss the current status of the NW Strategic Alliance.

Intent: Impress on the executive that the housing issue is affecting small and large employers in terms of recruitment and retention of staff. Also to gain an understanding of the work being done within the council to address the issue, to meet targets and to help them understand how we can all work collaboratively. ::Gain an understanding of how we can engage with utility providers and others to ensure infrastructure deficits are addressed in a timely fashion in order to meet growth targets.

Details: Meeting requested by Letterkenny Chamber to discuss the findings from a housing focus group and provide feedback to the Council executive.

Meeting took place on 23rd February 2024 in Letterkenny PSC. Letterkenny Chamber representatives presented their findings and explained the issues. The President was accompanied by Toni Forrester, CEO; Kristine Reynolds and VP Chris Lynch. The Council executives then addressed the issues presented.
