Intent: Meeting with Head of Global Partnership and International Business Development, ::Department of Transport has not been proactive or ambitious, to allow or even plan for AV deployments on Irish roads and have been laggards and we are now playing catch-up in an ever increasing competitive landscape. Because of this unfortunately Irish people have been totally mislead by the media on the maturity and consumer readiness of AVs. We have missed the AV testing and trialing phase and now it's a case of integration into our national transport ecosystem with large-scale deployments.
Details: Approach by large international Autonomous Share Mobility operator to enter the Irish market and set up a EU base of operations here.
