Intent: Invited to make Presentation to the Chair of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Social Protection and Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht making a case for LEADER to remain in the next round of CAP and that a funding envelope of €450m via EU and Exchequer funding be put in place with a base line figure of €4m per Local Development company LDP and the allocation per head of capita/deprivation score/ rurality etc. be applied in addition to the baseline allocation.
