Intent: If there is a requirement for a Director of an Irish company who is not an Irish resident and has not been allocated a PPS number, we are advocating that increased resources be allocated to the section within the Department of Social Welfare (DoSW) which issues PPS numbers. We anticipate that if there is a requirement for a Director of an Irish company who does not have a PPS number to apply for one, then there will be thousands of applications to this section of DoSW.
