Intent: to advocate for the disability sector, in particular for SOS Kilkenny CLG in budget 2026, for sufficient sustainable funding to provide supports to the people attending disability organisations.

Intent: to support individuals to access their rights to reach their fullest potential as active citizens in all areas of life including access to housing, employment, education, health and social opportunities. To utilise the maximum available resources to implement models of support aligned with human rights and to deliver services that serve as a bridge to full inclusion in community for people with disabilities. Allocation of planned and emergency supports are required to meet unmet targets.::plan a realistic allocation of 280 residential places to meet priority 1emergencies, ring fence separate and dedicated funding of €20 Million for planned places. Develop a multi-year capital plan for investment in residential and independent living options. Enable service providers to deliver and expand services by increasing base funding to resolve current and historic deficits, by funding the actual cost of service delivery and ensure funding for pay awards to achieve parity with S39 orgs

Intent: to attain sufficient funding for SOS Kilkenny CLG from the HSE, to avoid a budget deficit in 2025 and to secure and guarantee adequate funding into the future, in order to maintain quality services in line with the industry regulator HIQA
