Methods: Meeting, Phone call

MethodDescription
Mark Fay (Board) & Ann Murphy (Gen. Mgr) contacted Paschal O’Donohue TD and Ray McAdam Dublin County Councillor regarding space for our early years childcare service. We discussed the possibility of using the vacant CTC building on Sheriff Street which has been vacant since January 2020. The building would enable us to reduce our ever increasing waiting list for local childcare places. Our Board is in contact with other local services to explore collaborations for use of the CTC building.

Methods: Letter
Details & Methods:
MethodDescription
Contacted 2 x TD's ( Mary Lou McDonald & Gary Gannon) regarding space for our preschool children. We sought support in our application to local school for space for our ECCE children (year 2). We have a long waiting list for our community creche and securing extra space would reduce wait times for local residents. We outlined in our letter that we would include the extra class/space under our contract for childcare provision which includes providing staff. No extra cost for the school
