Suggested that a meeting be held with the land owner to explore further. The proposed road if it were developed would open up the back of Mountmellick for development. This is only at the suggestion stage.

The MYDC were seeking core funding which would permit the payment of wages and ensure the continuation of this service. Currently without additional funding this service will be greatly curtailed.
