Intent: Medisec Ireland CLG wrote to the Chief Information Officer of the HSE in relation to the MedLIS system which is currently being piloted. We raised our concerns relating to risk around the ordering, undertaking and management of test results under the proposed system and in particular the 24-hour access to patient lab results, which could lead to exposure for our GP members.
