Intent: In relation to the proposed tariffs and the response by the EU we wanted to explain the overall impact on patients and on the provision of healthcare on both sides of the Atlantic. We believe that our sector should be excluded from any proposed EU retaliatory tariff measures. We also wanted to share our belief that there should be an EU focus on non-tariff measures such as improvements to the EU regulatory systems for medical devices.
